    Luckily, Texas does not tax vehicles based on value, i.e., no personal property tax. Since I have a title that matches the new Texas law, all I have is the standard registration fees and a $90.00 new resident fee.

    I would never move back to Illinois. Laws and politics are totally influnced by Chicago, which is completely out of touch with the rest of the state.
