They have already done this antique car taxing in Illinois . I Paid the Tax on My 1965 Mustang got the Title in My Name cool . 8 Months Later a Letter came for there assumed value Tax . No debating already a Late fee added if you want to challenge it you have to go to Court in Springfield it said bring a Lawyer . Not sure how they broke down the Taxes . But they had My car Valued at over 20K hit me for about $900.00 Bill . I talked to a Lawyer he said they do it Because they can . I did write them back with a Bill of sale and said they can buy My car for Half of what they say it's worth . Yes still waiting for a reply and My Money back .
