Good to see your making progress on the gasser project again.

I had a Thames I/G gasser "once upon a time", LOL. Actually it was about 1967-68. The one thing I remember about it was how soft the aluminum was on the rear door skins. Since they are almost flat, I would be inclined to replace the aluminum skins, with steel fab'd skins over the inner panels. My concern would be after all of your work to get them flat and smooth, and having someone push lightly on one to close the door and bending it. Just a thought.
