Thank you all for your guidance on this fiber vicky!
I went out to look at it and was very disappointed in how it looked. Dimensions were off, poor fit around the windows, the interior was not only lacking, but what was done was slapped together fiber fill (for lack of a better description). I really did not like seeing the look of fiber board under the hood or under the wheel wells. The body was gel-coat yellow, the fenders were molded to the body... it really did look like a toy... I can appreciate that fiberglass, if done properly on a radical rod, low slung & maybe steel hood and side pieces could look nice... but this one was so far off as to be a disaster. I estimated about $3500 interior, $5-7k repaint (having to remove the body from the chassis, remove windows, etc.) & would still not address the issue of seeing the fiberglass under the wheel wells! Someone mentioned $5k for the car and he is probably right! I would never be happy with this particular one...
Again, thanks!
That said, I am still in the market for a completed car; too old now to resurrect a failed project. I don't mind doing the detail & sorting out on a car... have a great interior & paint guy... sooooooo, if anyone knows of something coming available in the $19k to $30k range, email me at bart_savino@bellsouth.net. Located in SE Florida.

Thanks!
