Everyone here has given you some very good advice....you should listen to them. You may think this is a cool car now, being new to the hobby/sport, but once you start going to events and shows with it, you will be very dissappointed. You will start to hear the snide comments when people dont know youre listening, and you will soon sour on your "new" vehicle and want out.....It will be too late then. There are just too many good deals out there and in my opinion, its a buyers market.....Do some research and be an educated buyer....Good luck on your treasure hunt!

I went out to look at it and was very disappointed in how it looked. Dimensions were off, poor fit around the windows, the interior was not only lacking, but what was done was slapped together fiber fill (for lack of a better description). I really did not like seeing the look of fiber board under the hood or under the wheel wells. The body was gel-coat yellow, the fenders were molded to the body... it really did look like a toy... I can appreciate that fiberglass, if done properly on a radical rod, low slung & maybe steel hood and side pieces could look nice... but this one was so far off as to be a disaster. I estimated about $3500 interior, $5-7k repaint (having to remove the body from the chassis, remove windows, etc.) & would still not address the issue of seeing the fiberglass under the wheel wells! Someone mentioned $5k for the car and he is probably right! I would never be happy with this particular one...

That said, I am still in the market for a completed car; too old now to resurrect a failed project. I don't mind doing the detail & sorting out on a car... have a great interior & paint guy... sooooooo, if anyone knows of something coming available in the $19k to $30k range, email me at bart_savino@bellsouth.net. I don't know, I have been caught in the lemon game before, buying something for 15K, working in it and finding out I can't even get my money back. If you know there are problems but still want it offer a rediculously low price say 5k because of all the good parts are worth something. I am very leary anymore.

Just wanted to update the board. Did some searching and found an all steel 1934 Ford Chopped Top Custom 2 door, 350/350 in pretty nice condition. Purchased it on Sunday $28k area. Looks to need some brake work (very stiff) - maybe a booster or redo the "plumbing" and has a few rust bubbles under the paint on the door (proves it's steel, huh ). Clear title, in seller's name. I feel I'll be much happier with this. Anyone seen this one around at all? I believe the resto was done about 17 years ago.

Thank you! Now I have to redo the brakes (VERY HARD to PUSH), fix a couple of rust spots in the door "skin" and I'll be good to go!

Way to go BTsave, I like it! That is a beautifil car. You are alot better off with it than than the other, well done.
