    Kool Kruizer.
    Had 1 a couple years ago.
    Pics from when I got it, Can't find finished pics
    but all I did was put chrome rims and baby moons, Flaked the top silver
    and drove the SH*T outta it.

    My valve covers are so called Starfire covers..........I guess that is what they came on originally. They are chrome.

    Here is the very best Olds info site I have ever seen: Scroll down to the bottom of the first page and click on whatever you want info on, like heads. It should tell you the differences between the various ones. I do know my 64 heads have a different exhaust bolt pattern than the 59 Olds engine I had one time.........probably what the previous owner of your car ran into. Here is that site:

    The engine hasnt been fired up since being replaced. I couldnt get the starter to turn over by the key switch. After replacing bad connectors, cleaning corrosion, and some re-wireing, I finally got it to turn over. Now I have no spark Cant work on it untill Sunday now....hopfully just bad points or timing out.....will keep yall posted.
