    Yea its a good thing, and they work. If for nothing else its a great conversation piece! I adapted one to a 700r4 just so I could, along with a gear venders over/under drive say I got an 8 speed automatic. I still have some work to do on the console but it fits.

    The four speed units were particular to the 1983 and 1984 Hurst/Olds, but Hurst did make some additional four and three speed units for anyone interested in retrofitting their shifters.
