Gotter runnin' again...but got a question
I put the water pump, alternator, and power steering pump on and fired it up. Now all I gotta do is time it. With a high lift hydraulic cam, what do you think I need to time it to? I don't know what cam is in it but it has a very noticeable ruff idle. This might be a crazy, out there question but I thought I would ask.VROOM, VROOM,...BOOM!!!!

36 degrees before top dead center....probally can rent a dwell/tach meter from the auto parts store..You'll also need a timinig light with a dail on the back. Dial it to 36 point it at your marks and set them to zero. If none of this is possible then set the timing at idle with the vacume advance disconnected at 6 degrees befor top dead center.Last edited by HWORRELL; 04-14-2009 at 06:37 PM.

It would be nice if this up and down crap would cease.
