No, there were actually a few more T's there, but we usually ask to be put in the "Custom Yugo" class...........it's one way for sure to walk away with a trophy!!!

Congratulations on the wins for both of you!
Like someone else said, I would hate to have to choose between your cars. They're both super great looking.
BTW How are the new carbs working out as far as gas mileage? Just curious.

Thanks. Well, I haven't fiddled with them yet to adjust the idle screws or anything, I just bolted them on and that was it. I think I am going to play with the idle jets and progressive linkage this weekend to try to get them more dialed in. As it is, I have to say the single 4 just felt better, and probably got better milage, simply because the carb fed fuel/air correctly into the dual plane manifold. With this setup both carbs are dumping fuel into a common chamber, with the primary carb dumping most of it at the back of the adapter. I think that may tend to be the cause of some little flat spots I am experiencing when accelerating.
I resisted changing anything on the car for the past year because it just ran so darned good with the 4 barrel setup.........powerwise as well as fuel economy. But I like the looks of the two carbs and scoops much better and most people who see them agree. I know adapter type setups are maybe a little "gimmicky" and not a true multicarb setup, but it does give a certain funkiness and oldtimey look to the engine now. It is also a nice view from the drivers seat going down the road and you can hear air sucking down the throats.

So, I guess I made a little trade off, and haven't really driven it enough to tell if milage is worse or better, but I'm betting it is worse due to the design.

There is NO doubt that the twins look better that what you had.
That adapter gives you a lot of plenum volume. You might need a little more accelerator pump shot to clear up those flat spots. Might try drilling out the accelerator pump discharge ports in the venturi cluster to dump the pump shot a little faster. Not much mechanical adjustment on the amount of pump shot, except to make sure the link is adjusted to give maximum stroke.

It was a perfect day. About 83 degrees and sunny. Got to love Florida!

Wish some of that weather would come this way, it's like 42 outside!
