Chudik, do yourself an HUGE favor and buy this book. It's the best I've ever seen for explaining how and why to set up the rear diff/suspension for drag racing. (you don't know what you don't know) Jegs has the best price on it right now....

Also, as everyone else has said, it's better to have a little angle on the u-joints to make them work properly. I have seen fellows shorten the housing/axle on the driver's side to bring the pinion to the center of the car, but I think it is a mistake.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.
