    If you are looking to center the pinion without offsetting the housing you'll need an after market housing like the sheet metal units or one like this aluminum deal.



    You can see how the hogs head is offest in the housing in this pic.

    Ye I See , this is really nice setup,
    My is a new unit from heidts, I got a full 4 link from them
    It’s a new housing with measurements for 67-70 mustang, and all the brackets are pre welded on it now, in order to redo the housing, brackets and axels for 3/4 “ offset , will cost me a alot of money, and seems to be not a realy big deal so I think I will stay with it for now.

    There's a bunch of 'em on the road (offset) with no problems. If it were a problem we would have gotten the memo by now.

    nice work ford did run on the van and truck lot more pin off set then that gm did. i put them on cent gm and some of the hot rod s i have done. Very nice work on the stang i did know this stuff about how much pin off set there was when i cut housing down i think it was 2 3/4 off set or so on trucks and vans been some time i played with them the last one i did was a 33 willys i did both my gm cars a long time ago and did them for gm A G body cars but that did not pan out for daily income
