    possible spread

When i thought up these engine mounts i figured the clean look with no cross bar looked best . But as its sits and i'm tinkering with the stang i keep thinking about the downward pressure on the bottom of the rails . When i put them in i webbed inside the rails to strengthen mounts and try to make it one piece as much as possible. I did plan also on gussetts from mount to boxing plate . Since i have changed belt drive and can move the engine forward and thoughts of the cross bar has me rethinking. Most all if not all do have them mounted on a crossmember . Here is pics for the new members who may not have seen them and to bring back memories to the longtime members .
