1955 F-100 Frame progres. *pics*
So It has been a while since I posted updates of my f-100. Since the last updates I bought a house and now own a real garage. I tore the truck back down to the frame to box in the whole thing and create a tubular crossmember to help stiffen things.
Before I think I posted pictures of my Mustang II install (etc..etc.. typical f-100).
Here are some pics of my frame work:
Coming along, not fully welded together yet:
Done:
This is the front end and cab mounted after the frame work. I Dont have the front cab mounts bolted in yet in this picture, it is just sitting on the mounts.
Currently I am hanging the doors and making supports for the cab because I am going to be cutting out the front passenger side door frame/pillar to replace them due to rot/etc.
On a different note:
Here is a pic of my brothers chopper which he completely built the frame (and frame table) at wyotech. This was the first bike built at the Blairsville PA Wyotech. which is now being finished in my garage.
I just thought I would show you all what I have been up to. The front sits on an MII heidt's setup. I am debating a 4-link on the rear, and I will be installing a mustang gas tank in the rear as well.
Thanks,
ben
