I have a long list of favorites but if I had to narrow it down to just one, make mine a new 1967 Corvette 427 435hp 4spd Coupe, Marina Blue with Black hood stripe bright blue interior, side pipes, no a/c .....
so when can I get it???? oops already did, only in my dreams.Last edited by Timberline; 05-10-2008 at 12:45 AM.

Seriously, I love this thread, because for the last six years I searched my heart for that one car I could dive into to restore. I love so many of the 30's, 40's 50's and 60-early 70's muscle cars, that I couldn't single one car out. I really liked the old bath tub porsches and speedsters, but equally love a 57 chevy. I just couldn't decide. My wife chose an old truck, and it felt right, especialy with a hot rod twist!
After joining here I must say I love certain cars some of you guys have made. Brian ups canary yellow rod - beautiful! Dons project 3k - tooo cool. And Kens colection starting with the RPU wow! All I can say is this becomes an addiction, and next(yes I said next Dave) by the way, some of Daves Merc's oh lala! Anyway, I'm in it for life now, and a little roadster with a kit frame and body will be next. 20 years from now I'll be welding my own!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

This is just like the premise .... so many women, so little time.
I've had a 69 Hemi Barracuda fastback and while I would love to have it back, I think I will choose something less obvious. Like may be a 63 Avanti R3 or a 1958 or 59 Corvette......or better yet a 1964 E Type Jaguar roadaster, red, with tan leather interior and a white rag top. Yeah, I think a new one of those would be just right.Definitely one of the most beautiful cars of all time.

This is an interesting thread,,as you probably dont realise,us Kiwis have been starved of all the "different" American cars, sure,we got the regular common garden variety four door sedans, but we got diddly in the way of ragtops, coupes, two door sedans, unless they were private imports. I guess things have changed a whole lot in the last 20 years or so,but I dont know what I would go for,a mid sixties Belvedere 2 with hemi and 4 speed would be a good start,a Shelby GT500 with 427 would also spin my crank,,hey I would even take my1960 Galaxie4 dr/ht as a brand new car,as there were only six brought in from Canada, right hand drive, for Ford Motor Company execs in 1960,and I believe it is the only one left of the six.Micah 6:8
If we aren't supposed to have midnight snacks,,,WHY is there a light in the refrigerator???

I don't know guys, I have had a lot of the 60's muscle cars, a few even were zero mileage at the time but I think I might trade the Willys for any one of the new muscles cars out now.
