When I asked the radio manufacturer that's what they suggested too, but with any old car I feel more comfortable with the power shut off with the old wiring, even with it in good shape. I would think there's a way to hook a 9v battery to it to keep the memory or something....First On Race Day

I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
