Thanks Bob. I got the same Ipad photo. I think he must be worn out! All the last minute rush to get the car ready. Traveling sounds good! My brother lives up your way, so I get weather reports from time to time, sounds like yesterday was o.k.?"

Good catch Steve. Sometime in the future there will be a feature in SR if these mean anything..........Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

I miss the models of projects past, but Ken's Face Book posts said they just detracted from the beauty of the cars!
Bob keep me advised of any magazine features as I would love to collect them as they come out."

Steve, I got my issue on Monday, it was so good to see our friend's car on the cover!! I really miss his posts and build threads, always learned something from them. Speaking of that, do you know which forums he hangs out at now? You can PM me if you would like.
Thanks, Mike

Not much to add Steve, but I don't think he hangs on any forum much at all. He will do an occasional (as in infrequent) post on HAMB, but now that they've changed format who knows.
Just some added info for the interested, he's now part bionic. Had a knee replacement done Monday and is recovering at a normal rate it appears. He'll be in the early phases of rehab for up to 10 days depending on mobility recovery. He thinks he might make it to LARS if released as hoped, but will be in an electric cart for obvious reasons.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

I wish him congratulations on the car, and speedy recovery and good luck with his new knee.Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.

I saw both Ken's sedan and Bruce Leven's coupe, that shares the cover with the sedan, at the GNRS. Both were very impressive and my personal favorites of the show.
Hoping for a quick recovery from his surgery and looking forward to his next build.

Kens wife Tina had both her knee replacements done together approximately 5 years ago so she will know exactly how to nurse Ken back to good health. The little nurses uniform she may wear would have any red hot blooded man up running real quick.
.I too miss his input here and his building skill is just amazing.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

His wife Tina is a saint. She used to vacuum the rugs in his garage! I wish Ken well too with his recovery. Pictked up the magazine today nice spread, worth a look!"

Wow, I don't know how to respond to all of this, you guys have been stalking me! Thank you for carring and the great compliments on the sedan. Last week end we took it up north for a 600 mile trip, it got 14 mpg and never missed a beat.
I have really tried to post a photo but honestly I can't figure it out.
I documented the rest of the build and will be happy to share once I get some help on posting photos.
Thanks again for all the nice words, my knee came out really good now I can kick myself in the ass when needed!!
