I am using their smallest battery, the PC680 due to space limitations. Haven't fired the car up yet, but from conversations with the factory guy, and also from Ken Thurm on here, I feel confident it will be a terrific battery. Ken recently reported that his battery "cranks like a 24 volt one, and recharges very quickly" (I'm paraphrasing Ken) That made me feel pretty good to hear that.

The guy I spoke with at the factory (forget his name) was one of the head guys, and spent a lot of time explaining them to me. He said they developed the Optima batterys, but that Optimas have an inherent flaw......the dead space between the round cells contributes nothing to the battery function. By eliminating the need for that space, the Odyssey battery can be more compact and efficient. I know some of it was self promotion, but he came across as very knowledgable.

I think I made the right choice. Here is the one I'm using, and they use this same tiny battery to fire even BBC engines, he told me.
