    Believe me...I've gone back and forth on the badge issue for months now. But I am gonna go with the 396 badge to throw those a bone who would otherwise not come check out the car. The hub caps are here to stay.

    For those wanting a pic of the "big orange valve covers", I entered my SECOND car show today and got a "Class Award" (equivalent to 2nd or 3rd place, and my first award ever ! ) for the "60's CAR" class. Very surprising since there were some very nice cars in that class....must have been the hubcaps ...anyway, here is how it looks under the hood...
