Well, I finally entered my first car show yesterday. Being the 4th, my wife gave me some flags to "decorate" the car. I didnt know what to do with them so I stuck them all in the engine bay. Sort of looked like an "American Muscle" theme...

I was sort of worried because every little imperfection on the car stands out like a sore thumb to me. But the car was well received, got a lot of curious looks and more than one surprised look when they peered under the hood and saw those giant orange valve covers. I guess the car has a little bit of the "sleeper" look. The older folks (50+....no offense ) seemed to take more of an interest in it.

Entering my second show this saturday...need to stay out of the sun this time ...I am a little crisp.
