DennyW--Yes I was thinking of 3/8 copper tubing, slightly bent, run a die over the one end and use a very thin collar nut in the door opening with a regular nut inside the door to mount it.
Brickman-- I think you mean a flat 3/4 spring insulated against the door and jamb? I have too many wires, its a 4 door with power windows but could apply a single spring for the door solenoid. Thanks ChuckMy favorite music is "Peggy Sue" with dual Smitty's in the background!

I used the one from SPW and it works great. www.specialtypowerwindows.com It was $28, called a FWC (flexible wire conduit)

time for a new forum to visit. when they sold sr.com it went down hill fast. no more forum just a cheap site selling junkie cars. the canadians killed hr.com. mods are real pricks. as with any site...
Where is everybody?
