You might have a lot of original type parts you won't be using and could maybe sell them to some of the restoration guys. If you think $2400 is too much, keep looking. If the pickup is exactly what you wanted to build, then jump on it. By the way, $2400 is small change compared to what it is going to cost you to complete the project.
