    From what I've read yes those are factory and drilled for access and clearance to the exhaust manifold bolts. The 427's only had the vertical pattern on the heads. That's part of the reason the CJ and GT used the 14 bolt pattern. No holes in the towers and easier to service. If there is such a thing as easier? LOL
