It depends on what you want, do you want to build a car on Physics, or computers? Do you want a strong block or a weaker one? Do you want flexibility and lots o parts?

I perfer old motors, my 5.0 in my galaxie is bored 40 over its from 68 the metal can take it, on the down side I had to bore it 40 over cause of decades of abuse.

I did buy new Style parts that werent around in 68 like aluminium heads, forged rods pistons ect. Roller bearing every thing ect, ect, ect.
I say build old with new tech. the best of both worlds
