The Teutels live right down the road from me, I tell ya, That show is nothing compared to the "real" Teutels. These people are unbelieveable pieces of work. Now they have HUGE egoes to match.

Well Wayquick if were going to talk about our neighbors I got one with a big ego. He's been in a lot of movies but never in a major role. He's been on tv too but he's better known as a Writer. He's had a few books published. Since we like to play guessing games here I won't give his name. Is it too easy or should I give some clues?

I don't know who the Teutels are. I don't have cable or sattelite just the three network stations the I pick up with the old rabbit ears.

    CLUES
The movies he was in were based on his books.
He plays guitar in a rock band.

    Any guesses yet?

Okay so nobody reads books. Car magazines are my main source of reading material too. How about some automotive related clues.
One of his "few" books was a car book. It featured a red and white 1958 Plymouth Fury and was made into a movie.
I used to run into him at the Irving station but he hasn't said hello since one of my in-laws was involved in an accident with him. The accident wasn't just local news or even national news It was reported around the world.
BTW where's M+M jr. the one who started this thread? I haven't heard from him for a while. Are you too busy racing that jr. dragster to go online Michael?

Ah yes, you live near "royalty". Kinda scarey huh?

About the book thing, that's what your erstwhile "friend" Hillary says..................." A lot of people tell me my book is the first one they've ever bought"

Well, this doesn't have much to do about any TV shows or OCC but could be considered "Rolling Art" if ya stretch it a bit
Its a 2002 Boss Hoss "502" bike I saw at a small car show at Little Creek Casino last weekend.

Naw, no ride but I asked him how the balance was at a stop light and he let me sit on it to try it out. I have to admit, it was easy to hold up this beast!

He said it'll do 0-60 in under 3 seconds,,,,,,,, now thats fast in my book!! This thing sounded real good too, kinda like Brents 427SO Cobra(which is having some engine problems again-Geeessh!!).

    Man o man...

And I thought the SBC version was too much... What's next, a Hemi on a skatebord?... These things are starting to remind me of an Ed Roth Monster cartoon!!!

Al... I did'nt know that Stevie played in a band... That is what threw me, as I knew that he liked to do cameos in his movies... My favorite was the Redneck in Creap Show!!!

That's not an Arky thing is it?

Remember the yellow Sprite with the Hemi we posted last year? That's only slightly bigger than a skate board.

I think that was my favorite too. That was the closest he came to starring in a movie. His band is called "The Rock Bottom Remainders" Other band members are writers Amy Tan and Dave Barry. They only do charity events because they don't need any more money. Steve built a multi million dollar hospital in Bridgeton Maine (his home town) because they saved his life after my redneck in-law hit him with the van. I call it the Bryan Smith memorial hospital. If Bryan wasn't always on drugs none of it would have happened. I saw him eat 15 valiums and wash them down with a beer. No one was suprised when he OD'd.

I just have to reply to the Stephen King question. It WAS Stephen King, wasn't it? Or maybe living here in the UFO capital of the universe has messed me up. Right, Christine? Cujo, get down!
No, if you were me, you'd do it just like I did.

Yep, Steven King... Did you guy ever see the episode of Quantum Leap where Sam leaped into one of Steven King's neighbors...

Bob, I remember back in my High School when a local guy shoehorned a 8-17 Blown BBC into a MG Midget... At the time my cousin was driving a Blown 71 SS Camaro... The guy pulls up next to us at the local cruise-in and asked us what we thought of his ride...

My cousin's replay was... "I think you should put a set polished brass door handles on it and a velvet interior, then they can just bury you in the SOB!"
That car was so squirly, it would switch lanes the second he hammered the peddle... That guy and my cousin later became good friends...
