I watch it while biting my tongue - the old man needs his butt kicked. I have never seen him do anything but rant and rave. The kid has talent - he just needs time to get it all together - the old man needs to pop a cold one and mellow out.............

I think a lot of the bickering is put on for the cameras. You ever notice when they do the family thing they all get along really well. It's just in the shop that they fight. I think Mikey and the Old man is a riot. Mikey is only there for two reasons. To make him laugh and to take out the trash. LOL!!!!! I think it is a great show. The bottom line is They do have talent. Now it's a toss up who builds better bikes...Jesse James or OCC. Jesse James gets on my nerves at times because of his arrogance but he does build a wild bike and he does do quite a bit of his own manufacturing. I don't know if I buy the whole Jesse James relative thing either. The reason being a few years ago when a bunch of so called relatives wanted JJ's grave exhumed where was the new JJ? But as far as bike is concerned he is good. Then when it comes to Monster Garage he does have some great ideas on how to get something to work. All except for this last episode when he hosed up the suicide hinges / door on the cop car / donut shop.

I like the program. I do agree that the fighting between Paul Sr and Paul Jr are an act. Every once in a while one or both of them are caught smiling after some remark toward the other. They are definately a talented group.

I like the show! The fighting maybe staged some...but it happens when family works together. Have you ever noticed some customer's bikes in the back ground? NICE looking rides
It is them that are the "bread and butter" of the company.

I built a OCC inspred chopper out of my sons KNEX toys. Turned out pretty cool.

I just think the old man is a little jealous of Paul because he went through all of the hard work building up the business, and Paul is the one who gets most of the glory. He's a little argry because he is relegated to answering the phones and all of the business aspects while Paul just gets to build bikes. The old man doesn't understand the "creative process". He thinks his scare tactics will grease the wheels, but it doesn't really work. Creativity doesn't come at will.

I'm not sure how much the of the bitching is acted because the way the old man acts like a teddy bear around children.
