Why bother then if you don't like to talk with other wandering owners/spectators and only like to hang with your buds telling the same stories to each other you did at the last show. Just go for a ride and hang at a mall.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

You get a better parking spot if you enter the show. Spectators have to walk to the show. The bigger the show the longer the walk. It's worth the $5.00 (average here) entry fee just for the convenience.

most of the car shows in my area " except for the old well established ones " suffer from lack of participants and dry up after one or two events .. they all want to make a killing on entry fees and suffer poor participation .. i offered many times to bring my stuff and put in on the stage if i could do so without paying the entry fee and told them dont bother judging my junk ,, i just wanted to help field a good show " No No No they said they couldn`t make money if no one paid .. i said " you aint making none anyway cause nobody is here .. you got to have something to " show " in order to have a show ..
iv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?

Hoss doesn't it make you laugh! They need your cars to get people to come to make money but they charge you to be there! It's sort of the chicken and the egg argument!
Bob you always come up with great stuff. Non illegitimis carborundum i.e.... don't let the Bas...ds grind you down, Semper Fi!

Hoss, you need to take a little trip up above the Mason Dixon line. We have two, once a month shows that have been going on for years. Each draws 600 to 800 vehicles, there is no registration fee, and is open to all years and types. No bitching about other peoples cars and very few A-holes. Got a DJ and plenty of good food (hosted by an established car club and an Amish market. Club makes it's money selling 50/50 tickets.

The only joke is that Gibbon claimed to sell a quality product after Kyle took over. Unfortunately, the joke was on me.

Search "Gibbon" and read some of the threads.

But, Jack, your car is a beauty - regardless of the fact that you had to totally redo everything on it. (Then there are Brookvilles...........)
