Horizontal. but thanks for trying.

Got the crank out and also the piston. Piston lost 1 skirt.. crank seems to be cleaning up slowly but I think it'll be alright.

Does the Cub Cadet have a full boxed frame? Have you thought of a nice Motorcycle style power-plant upgrade?

I've thought about re-powers before, my biggest hangup would be that the PTO's wouldn't be in the original position so mower decks, snow throwers, generators all would have to be reconfigured to work. I actually have in my shop right now a 3 cylinder Kubota diesel and I've done some measuring and I could make it fit. But the attachments would all need to be attended to..

What are you waiting for? It's just some time and headaches to get it up and going.

I actually don't need this one, so once it's running again - it's going down the road. It's worth more stock - so it'll have to stay that way, maybe I can re-coup some of my expenses.
