    We were below 0*F for several days, if not a week. We had 2 to 3 weeks where we didn't even see a high of above 7*. Plus it snowed quite a bit during that time. I had to laugh because when I was a kid you always heard it wouldn't snow when it was below 0* because the air was too dry. Well, someone forgot to tell mother nature that this year.

    why in the hell our energy grid was being ran by a group of friggin yankees is beyond me. none of the morons lived here . heads need to roll over this crap.

    The irony in that is amazing, considering ERCOT was formed to keep grid control away from outside influences! Something's wrong with that picture.

    I'd just about guarantee that if the trail is followed back, it'll be all about politics and money.

    We always were told the same thing. Too cold to snow. But every once in a while - mother nature does as she damn well pleases!
