Your exactly right. First he will do one tour as a Chaplin Guard because the Chaplin is non-combative and does not carry a weapon. After that the Guard will pay up to 40K a year for collage . He will be going to college for Theology/Seminary school like you said , he said it would be a 4 year course in college. After that he can be promoted to an official Chaplin.
