An ordained minister in a mainline Christian denomination generally has to have a Bachelor's degree from a theological college or university, or a seminary, and I assumed that military chaplains were the same. Will your son get his education as part of his National Guard service, or am I totally off base on the requirements? As I said, I'm just curious as I'm unfamiliar with the career path.
