And you have every right to be proud Seth. Back when I went in (while Vietnam was still going on), the Guard and Reserve was a place to hide from the draft and deployment….. not so any more. I have a lot of respect for people who join.

I haven’t spent a lot of time in church over the years, but the men of God who made the biggest impression on me were the Army Chaplins.

Thank your boy for his service, he has an interesting road ahead.

So back then the guard wouldn't go overseas? That's kind of weird, my nephews has been in the guard and been to Iraq twice now.
