I'll tell ya, that gives me chills every time. Both teams lined up like arrows with their hands on their heart looking at the flag while the anthem gets sung. It's the same every time around here, the crowd stands,the song is being sung and the crowd is silent The only thing you hear is kids screwing around for a bit till they realize what's going on and then the whole place is silent. Then nobody says a word till the color guard walks off the field. I wanted to take a picture but I couldn't make myself grab my phone during it.
