Also found 'The time flies Malt shop' at the back of the gas station but it looks like its a museum not a working diner.

Yep, thats Clinton, several great car museums in town and restored gas stations as well a restored dealerships (Desoto) our town is very old car "friendly". However none are like your metal building with a cool diner inside!! You are correct the malt shop is private and not open for business. Why is mine so big and yours so small, Chrysler FirePower

Here is a photo of my '37 off the square here in Clinton, we boast the 4th largest square in the US and have a monthly cruise night. Lots of the old buildings have murals on them here, many repainted by a local artist, the backdrop on this building is a original left over from when we had a Coke bottling plant.cocacola3.jpgLast edited by Matthyj; 04-28-2016 at 08:54 PM.

Wow! Great colour contrast!.. sorry, color contrast
Interesting buildings and the old Desoto dealership looks cool. HOVER MOTOR COMPANY: Downtown DeSoto open house reveals an unforgettable collection of automotive passion in downtown Clinton
I bet the cruise is a slice of American pie.
