I had the pleasure of driving a 68' Firebird convertible with a stock 400 that was rebuilt a bit hotter! My oldest brother owned it in High School. I used to give him a hard time about it's power, until one day he let me drive it. It is still the only car that smoked tires at 55 mph, when I punched the gas petal down, and I swear the gas gauge took a dip too!
