Thanks Dave. It was fun & I think it's already on our calendar for next year.

Not much melted down. Got some water out with the snow. Carpet is just damp to the touch.

Wow lots of snow! We have thankfully got 3" rain in the last 24 hours per my rain gauge, looking at possibly 7 inches for this storm front, all in 3 days, = landslides etc... but we need every drop! They say another front will come in on Wednesday, so hopefully February will be a wet month, and fill our reserviors with much needed water, also snow in the Sierras will be good for summertime snow melt water!

Charlie, you may think about having someone crawl up and knock some snow off it roof just in case you guys get more. That would be a bad deal if it would hurt your roof. We had a lot of people have those issues three winters ago.

Steve, that definitely sounds like a lot of rain coming down for sure. Good luck with it!

we are at 4.07 inches this morning for the storm that started Friday. It's coming down lightly right now, but there have been a few mud slides in Sonoma County already.

Gee,you guys are getting it all in the wrong places..Steve,,we have friends up in Truckee,,and I don't think they have had much snow this winter,yet..With the storms that are slapping the other side of your country,,it must be wearing thin by now.. Seen pix from Kentucky, and around Bobby's place,,and a guy up around Lansing(I think),,seem to be snowed in still,on a regular basis..And some people down here bitch about a few days of rain.........
