    Roger, I'm guessing Jerry is making reference to the (IMO) god awful ugly blue convoluted hose covering running around the engine compartment. I personally dislike that stuff when it's used, especially when the color choice stands out like a sore thumb as in this case.

    Could be, but I was not sure if the "...he would really rather have..." was referring to the owner of the car or that Dave would rather the car be blue as opposed to the light mint green that the owner chose for the re-paint on the ground up restoration. Doesn't matter - all I'm doing is passing on the pictures that Dave wished I'd have taken a year ago
