Car Part Furniture?
Just curious, does anyone here have furniture that they have made out of car parts? I have an old Chevy 350 2 bolt block that I have no use for, so I've been tossing around the idea of cleaning up, putting it on an engine cradle and putting a piece of glass over top to make an end table.
So if you have any input or any pictures of stuff you've made, post it up!1966 Chevy Bel Air, 2 door post, 355/TH350

I like that top one you posted.
Here's what I'm thinking about. I found this on a forum Saturday night.
Or I was thinking this, but I don't need a coffee table so that's why I was going to go with the end table.
Only thing is, I want to paint the outside of the block and lifter valley Chevy orange, but I want to shine up the bores and deck. So how would I keep those from rusting? Just clear coat them?1966 Chevy Bel Air, 2 door post, 355/TH350

The concept of turning it on end and using the bores as a wine rack is kind of cool, if you ever store wine.....Roger

I'm kind of torn between the end table with the wine bottles in it and the one I posted with the mountain dew bottle sitting on it. With a cast iron block, I would almost want it on a cradle to make it easier to move, but the one sitting on end looks pretty good too.1966 Chevy Bel Air, 2 door post, 355/TH350

Years ago I put a dual point Mallory in the 66 Mustang I gave my grandson. After awhile I grew tired of setting the points all the time so I put a Pertronix module and matching coil and never looked...
