We've had about 6" of Snow at my House since last night/today-what has me worried is that yesterday I had a 10-man Landscaping Crew (with a mini-excavator) crawling all over my Yard-they replaced 3 big Trees (and a bunch of bushes, flowers and stuff)-it looks fantastic, but, it blew like crazy last night (while snowing)-everything seemed to survive, but it keeps on blowing (and we don't get a lot of wind here generally)-hope everything makes it another day (it's supposed to stop blowing then )-
Btw, the Temperature dropped almost 60 degrees in about two hours last night-brrrr!Last edited by 35WINDOW; 04-09-2013 at 02:34 PM.

We're at 71F and cloudy here Dave, but your cold is pushing in tonight and will be here through Saturday....Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Yesterday it was 75* and cloudy. Today it did reach 65* and was muggy big time. The wind picked up and the temps been dropping. We're supposed to see snow as well. Dave, I'm sorry but keep that stuff. It just doesn't want to go away!Ryan

Since it was warm I snuck the coupe out for a quick jaunt down the road a piece. Had to fix a leaky trans dipstick tube..
It was so warm I opened the windows and had a blast! The trans kit "reprogrammed" the shifts further apart and seems to work as advertised. Now I just gotta clean the outside 'cause it's filthy!! rofl..

It's been clear and pleasant here for the last few days, so over the weekend I put a few miles on the roadster just cruising around. Then I took off from work yesterday since I thought I had a dentist appointment in mid morning but since it turned out the appointment is actually next Monday (yes, I screwed up my calendar) I just drove around in the roadster most of the day. It was sunny again today so I drove the roadster to work, which is about a 45 min. drive each way; it was actually a bit too warm for my taste, sunny and over 80F. I need to get some sunblock. Tomorrow it's supposed to be even warmer in the mid 80's but I put it in the garage since I have someplace work related to go in my other car. Thursday it's going back down to the mid 60's which I prefer, then cooling into the low 60's over the weekend but still sunny and clear.
Sorry the above sounded like a weather report ...I guess it was
Thursday night my 18 y.o. son and I are flying to Detroit and then driving to East Lansing to visit Michigan State to see how my boy likes it; he was accepted and that's one of his top three choices. We'll be home Friday night, just in time for a nice hot rod cruising weekend.Nick

Since it fits in with this thread's subject matter, I'll add that when he first started considering certain colleges, one of his main criteria was good weather. So California, Florida, and Hawaii were on his short list. We eventually expanded that to include institutions offering learning opportunities in areas he might be interested in. Then yesterday he got an acceptance letter from Univ. of Arizona in Tucson and the first thing he said was "I heard this is a great party school". After looking at pics of the place online, I may have to go out there with him if he goesNick

I've already mowed 3 times this ?Spring? and everything is blooming, budding and putting on fruit. Gonna be a scorcher come July/August. Standing under the car port cleaning up some wiring on the Fairlane this morning and even tho I had a fan blowing on me, I was still sweating like a prostitute on $1 night..

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
