A great trip, fantastic scenery, etc.....then we took the ferry across the channel and into England where we would eventually ship the bikes. I can relate to that!
Our last trip to the States saw me turn a 2011 Mustang in its own length, going from about 40 mph one direction to about 60 mph the other.
I'd inadvertantly driven the wrong way onto a highway 'off' ramp and had a 40 ton KW coming straight at me!
God alone knows what the truck driver thought...but I got one helluva fright.
Habit is hard to shake; you've got to be totally aware all the time.
I still shudder to think of the potential consequences from my lapse of concentration.
