I may be wrong or not correctly remembering things (getting old is tough LOL), but it seems to me that for the most part those of us that were raised in the 50-60s had a more disciplined upbringing. There were rules and we were expected to follow them, if not we quickly learned what consequences were and that was not a bad thing.

Yeah it was like that in Australia too.

I think too many rights have been given without people being taught that all rights have responsibilities too.

Such as "none of your rights allow you to interfere with other peoples rights"
