Yeah, I think that a lot of people were surprised by the response of the KC fans. They (not we - I was not there....) filled the stadium for the Futures Game, which in other venues is a low draw event, and for every other part of the weekend festivities. The stadium looked great, even if it is out so far away from the downtown nightlife areas, and out of towners were pleasantly surprised that the night life action was fun & festive (as opposed to drunken revelry, fights, etc that many seem to be expecting), and that the local people would actually talk to them about their experience in town, tell them about things to see & do, and generally be friendly. Seems like it was a very positive weekend experience for most all of the folks who attended.
