Mustangs - - -$9K to $25K. 35 Ford hot rod, beautiful paint, tires, exterior perfect, -needed interior $22K. Saturday the prices were higher. Do you have to pay a preminum, to have your vehicle auctioned off on Saturday?
The problem seems to be the date of the West Palm Beach BJ auction. The last few years it has fallen on Easter weekend, this year was twofold as it was also Passover. Both combined seem to bring out less high rollers and more secondary market buyers looking for a steal (usually for resale at their specialty auto dealerships). Having experienced a low selling price on the 38 ProStreet Willys we donated to Make-A-Wish. I had a cash offer of 15K higher the day before it hit the block. Not my call since the car was a 100% donation (the car, transportation, the auction, detailing, etc).........Again, next year I may go down strictly as a buyer, as 72% of the cars going over the block had no reserve on them..........
