This just came over Nightline.It is a app for your phone of people in you local area reporting gas pricing for you to find the cheapest gas.I don't have a cell,but it might help out some of you guys.

Those 'notices' make me laugh. We had that around here a couple years ago when the prices spiked. You drive 'X' miles extra to save a few cents and burn an extra gallon or so of $4.00 gas then add in maintenance.
These are days when I'm happy I didn't opt for a diesel in my truck as the later, EPA strangled versions of the big three are not getting much if any better fuel mileage then a gasser - that diesel fuel locally is in the mid to high four buck range nowDave W
I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug

I would think you have to use it the right way.If your on the site driving your normal route and find a cheap gas station,then you pull in to get your gas there.

If its just pennies less a gallon you don't save enough to bother with..With my 40 gal. tank If empty .05 a gal saved is only $2. on a fillup. hardly worth going out of your way for.Charlie

So installing the trex bed wood got me thinking about all the heat from the exhaust and the possible melting of the wood. Also noticed the floor on the passenger side getting hot on a warm day. So...
