I think the CNBC clip that Bob posted was crystal clear stating that the problems are not simply the Obama years, but extend back into the GW Bush years, too. W had to deal with the twin tower terrorist attack very early in his term, and that set the stage (IMO) for much of what he did in his eight years. The problem is, again IMO, that with that as a starting point Obama ratcheted up government spending in tremendous amounts, and most, if not all of the spending programs did very little to actually "stimulate" anything. I'm not sure we can stand another four years of this tune, so for me the mantra is "Defeat Obama".
