Indy cars
Had a big wreck today in the Indy Car race in Vegas. Dan Weldon was air evac'd, no further word on his condition so far.................
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Dave,I got it on TV now.15 cars involved.Lots of cars in the air.Fires too.We will pray that everyone will come out of this ok.

It's a dangerous sport but everything in life has those moments. When I saw the accident I knew it couldn't be good. My prayers are with his family.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

here`s an insane thought for you .. with all the sophisticated remote control systems available now days and computors thinking thousands of time faster than humans why not remote controled racing ? and yes ... i`ve been drinking all dayiv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?

The reports said the type of crash he was in,not much can be done to prevent it.He went driver's side up flying into the catch fence.Good Bye

Exactley, and that happens in any form of open wheel racing,same exact type of crash that took Rich Vogler in a midget.Any part of a drivers body makes contact with a chain link fence and its gonna tear something off. Wouldn't have mattered if he was going 225 mph or 125 mph ,you jump a wheel and your going airborne. Originally Posted by 1gary

I check in everyday and some are better than others. I don't think Brent has anything to do with the forum anymore, but I'm not sure. Hopefully as time moves on the forum will get better.
