    Bill,
We're heading to Shippensburg (west of Harrisburg ~40miles) and will go from there to Gettysburg & surrounding area for a couple of days before heading over to the Allentown area over the weekend. The following week we're heading up into the Pocono's region, a B&B in Jim Thorpe. My wife has it in mind to go down to Philly for a day or two mid-week before heading west again. I'm thinking that I might want to see Monticello - always been amazed by some of Jefferson's engineering skills.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Ok,not much to do in Shippensburg proper, however Gettysburg National Battlefield would be a two or three day+ tour, Hershey (just outside Harrisburg) and the surrounding areas are nice. Bethlehem/Allentown has a bunch of tourist type places, same goes for Jim Thorpe. Tons of wineries in NE PA and up in the Catskill area (Monticello area). Beware that there is construction on the PA Turnpike and the PA northeast extension. Expect delays even if it does not rain. Anything specific you two are interested in, let me know.....After all, your in my neck of the woods (metaphorically speaking that it)......

Instead of being part of the problem, be part of a successful solution.
