    Way to go Mike!

At least with the gasoline you get freedom of movement and choose how to use the money spent. Plus, some of that money goes toward producing more gasoline to use again someday (or at least what's allowed). All the other money spent for registration just goes down the rat hole of political morass.

Now, get out there and enjoy the heck out of it while the weather still holds.

Thanks Bob! My frustration with dealing with the "authorities" hasn't faded enough to begin discussing the lunacy! But, 24 hours later my headache has gone away and I can smile a bit about having cleared some major hurdles! Hopefully, I can work out the bugs and then Dave (IC2) & I can hookup in Vermont at next years NSRA show! It's a goal I hope I can meet. EH Dave?

At least that show - that is unless the monsoon sets in again

And bugs - mine still has a couple, but that's because I don't spend enough time with the fixes

I guess the "bugs" are what keeps it interesting for me. Once they are all gone.. so is the car!

I did go for a short drive last night. it's like 4 miles to the gas station so that's where I ended up, then back to the shop. I did stop by my house to show off to the wife and she mentioned a burning smell, I felt it was just the paint burning off the exhaust and motor etc., after getting back to the shop I went to set the parking brake and realized I hadn't released it fully! Dang! Shot myself in the foot already! I don't think it did any real damage.. I guess those shoes are "set" now!

I was concerned that my brake pads (wilwoods) would give me a fit or not work well after reading your issues Dave. But I must admit that they worked great!

No funny noises and considering they aren't vacuum assist, they stop really well! I didn't shove my foot in it yet. It was strange enough hearing all the new sounds and since it was dark by the time I finished up, I didn't want to push the envelope yet.

So it's back on the rack and need to re-adjust the parking brake....

Oh, the Posi rear end chatters whenever not traveling straight. That will have to change! I used oil with the additive and even later added another small bottle of posi additive... I hope it changes and soon....
