Robin - Mike never said it was "decent". And to read 1216 separate posts, bring your coffee pot - http://planetsmilies.net/tired-sleep...iley-17389.gif
Well,then..If it rains all weekend, and I break an arm or leg today,,it means I might have a chance to read it,,but,at the moment, its a real nice fine day,,and if it stays like that,I am just gunna have to chip away at it over the next WEEK...:LOL:cos theres plenty for me to do,now its officially spring..I can tell,,the darn lawns are going crazy..:HMMM:**)**)
Yes,,thats right,,all those posts about headers to a 5.0 in a 37 Ford,,hmmm....We all get side tracked,dont we..
Well! As of 16:30 Eastern Standard Time... The car is officially Registered! It literally took all day! Between trips to the Insurance agency, DMV and the dreaded Department of Revenue! It's over and now registered! Once my headache clears up, I'll attach the plates and try her out! First stop?? Gas Station! LOL... Another ouch comin'... 8-)
ALL POINTS BULLETIN!!!! Road Hazard !!!!
Mike - other then the pain in the billfold pocket, congratulations. Several major steps have been completed
(Now, if we can convince a couple other of this threads regular 'respondents' to move along:HMMM::3dSMILE:)
Way to go Mike!
At least with the gasoline you get freedom of movement and choose how to use the money spent. Plus, some of that money goes toward producing more gasoline to use again someday (or at least what's allowed). All the other money spent for registration just goes down the rat hole of political morass. ;)
Now, get out there and enjoy the heck out of it while the weather still holds.
Thanks Bob! My frustration with dealing with the "authorities" hasn't faded enough to begin discussing the lunacy! But, 24 hours later my headache has gone away and I can smile a bit about having cleared some major hurdles! Hopefully, I can work out the bugs and then Dave (IC2) & I can hookup in Vermont at next years NSRA show! It's a goal I hope I can meet. EH Dave? :3dSMILE:
Congrats 34-40! I know what a great feeling it is to finally get through the process. I went through it in '07 here in Ct. with my Tbucket. Enjoy the ride.
