    When AMC bought the Mark Donahue team (just like toyota bought teams to get into nascar), the pictures of the engines had a big air box on them...certainly large enought for a tunnel ram. Also, the individual runners meant that the thing was pretty much a high rpm deal with not much low end.....there are plenty of responses if you Google "trans am" AMC "tunnel ram"

    I bought it off ebay, just can't find any history on it.
