Gunsmoke was my all time favourite. It was a Saturday night ritual when I was growing up. Another one I liked was a little known show called Nichols starring James Garner. Of course, Garner has always been one of my favourite actors.Remember, Freedom isn't Free, thousands have paid the price so you can enjoy what you have today.
Duct tape is like 'The Force.' It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.

I had forgotten about Maverick with James Garner - another classic, with a bit better acting than some of the earlier 'horse operas' and 'shoot'm ups'.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Maverick was my all time favorite - but then anything James Garner did was great IMO. The rest of you OF's have mentioned all of the rest I would watch tho I was never a super fan of Bonanza. It just didn't ring true to me - a 50 year old guy with 'sons' in their 30s and 40s
Any of the '50-'early '70s were sure better pure entertainment then the 'realism' and splatter that they seem to need to show today. Back then when they shot the villain, he just clutched his chest and died.Dave W
I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug
